Used to work at a major lead buyer. We optimized the time to call system so much that customers were literally getting phone calls seconds after submitting their information on a completely different 3rd party site. iirc they had to find ways to delay putting the call in the dialer system so people didn't get *as* freaked out lol
My mom used to work as a county commissioner is Idaho, and that’s where I first heard about the water problem! Apparently it’s a total clusterfuck there as well - I think she made some kind of “water coalition” because there were like 7 different entities that had some stale or influence in water use and NONE of them had ever met or talked to eachother.
